What Makes Us Different?

  • Recognized as one of the rarest and highest quality coffees in the world, Kona coffee is incredibly smooth and rich with notes of dark chocolate and nuts.

  • Our farm is one of the original Kona coffee farms in Hawaii, producing world-class award-winning coffee.

  • The "Kona-Typica" coffee trees on our farm have been tended to by hand for generations with some approximately 100 years old. These are some of the very trees that made Kona coffee world famous.

  • Our environmentally-friendly estate has a variety of fruit and nut trees providing natural shade and soil enrichment which dramatically improves the quality of the coffee and is a natural habitat for a variety of birds.

  • Of course, there are no chemicals, no pesticides, no GMOs, no exceptions. We only use all-natural methods as nature intended. We don't even use irrigation. This is the true taste of Kona coffee.
  • We are Direct-Trade. By purchasing our coffee, not only are you getting some of the rarest and best coffee on earth, you are directly supporting us and our mission to maintain this very special farm and keeping authentic Kona coffee the way it was meant to be.
  • Although we quickly sell out of our yearly harvests in advance, we offer a farm-direct subscription service to ensure you can continue to receive your coffee throughout the year.

What Make Us Different?

About Our Coffee

  • All of our coffee is from our single-estate farm in Captain Cook, Hawaii within the district of South Kona.

  • We only select the ripest, reddest cherries which is more labor intensive.

  • Once harvested, we wet-process our coffee and sun-dry the beans. This takes longer and requires significantly more labor but nothing worth doing is easy and this pays off in overall quality.

  • After the coffee is dried, it is milled to remove the remaining parchment and is then sorted by Hawaiian standard grades. At this point, the beans are known as "green" coffee and ready for resting.

  • Quality cannot be rushed and our beans are rested for a minimum of three months before roasting.

  • To ensure even roasting, the rested green coffee is roasted by individual grade.

  • We roast, pack and ship all orders with the goal of getting coffee to customers at or close to the 1st of each month. To ensure freshness, individual orders are roasted and shipped at the same time as coffee subscribers.

  • It takes about 3 to 5 days for coffee to develop to it's potential after roasting which means your coffee should be ready for brewing by the time it arrives.

  • Look for our "roasted on" date stamp with each order!
